About

This Bountiful Life

An Integrative Psychiatry and Wellness Practice

This Bountiful Life was created out of both experience and necessity. After more than a decade practicing within the traditional medical system — from primary care pediatrics to county-based mental health clinics and private psychiatric settings — Dr. Julie Schreiner recognized a critical gap in how we approach mental health care. Too often, the medical model operates in silos, separating mental health from physical health, the individual from their family, and the patient from their community.

This fragmented approach can leave individuals feeling unsupported, disconnected, and frustrated. Dr. Schreiner experienced those frustrations firsthand, both as a clinician and as someone deeply invested in helping people heal. This Bountiful Life was founded to break down those barriers and to reimagine how mental health care is delivered.

At its core, This Bountiful Life is an integrative psychiatry and wellness practice that honors the connection between the mind and body, recognizing that true healing extends beyond medications and symptom management. The practice provides evidence-based psychiatric care while incorporating a broader perspective that considers physical health, emotional well-being, family dynamics, and the healing power of community.

The vision for This Bountiful Life is simple yet profound: to create a space where individuals of all ages — from children to adults — feel seen, supported, and empowered. A space where mental health care is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the understanding that well-being is a whole-person experience.

Here, patients and families are invited to engage in care that reconnects the mind and body, fosters resilience, and cultivates a sense of belonging — within themselves and within their community.

This is more than a psychiatric practice. It's a space to feel grounded, supported, and to rediscover the bountiful life within.
